Harshita RamakrishnanCo PresidentHarshita Ramakrishnan is a senior in Bridgewater Raritan High School and has been a member of FBLA since the 7th grade. She has competed and won at the NJ State level competitions for the past three years in a variety of categories such as Financial Math and Management Decision Making and was part of the Marketing team that placed at the FBLA National Conference in Atlanta. As an active member of FBLA, she has participated in March of Dimes fundraisers as well as attended the national conference every year of her high school career. Outside of FBLA, Harshita enjoys participating in her school’s Speech and Debate team as well as running the St. Jude Children’s Hospital Fundraising Club. With her knowledge and experience, she hopes to take the Bridgewater FBLA chapter to greater heights.

Stephanie HuCo-PresidentStephanie Hu is extremely excited to serve as your 2018-2019 FBLA Co-President. She is tremendously dedicated to FBLA, having been elected the 2018-2019 New Jersey State Historian, where she manages NJ FBLA’s social media presence. She also has prior experience on BRHS FBLA’s executive board, serving as historian sophomore year and co-president junior year. She has also attended three National Leadership Conferences. Her greatest achievement within FBLA is becoming the 2018 National Champion in Personal Finance. Outside of FBLA, she is heavily involved in the STEM fields. In the last two years, she has done research at the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences at Icahn School of Medicine and the Department of Cell Biology and Biochemistry at Stony Brook University. As a program intern for New Jersey Junior Achievement, she was involved in planning a Hackathon with over 100 attendees. She is also the co-president of iSTEM. In her free time, she enjoys learning to snowboard, playing tennis, and hanging out with her two cats.

Howard LiVice PresidentHoward Li is currently a senior and has been Vice President of FBLA for the last two years. Since joining FBLA as a freshman, he has won awards in the regional, state, and national level conferences, including events such as business law and healthcare administration. In terms of business experience, he attended the LaunchX entrepreneurship program at MIT, creating and scaling a startup that produces wearable technology to assist the hearing impaired. Apart from FBLA, he is captain of the Public Forum debate team, plays on the tennis team, and started Piano Club, a volunteer piano tutoring service.

Nitin SivamuruganTreasurerIn his second year as chapter treasurer, Nitin brings both experience and dedication to his role in managing the club finances. During his first year, he helped create 22 study guide packets to help members succeed at regionals, fundraised over $4,000 through Gertrude Hawk chocolate sales, and partnered with local restaurants Chipotle and Cava to raise an additional $125. He also worked with his own club, Build A Future, to direct an inter-club book drive that raised 256 books for New Jersey children. In addition, Nitin is the treasurer of two other clubs: the Somerset Relief Club and Paws for A Cause. He has placed at the national level in FBLA for Business Law in 2017, and Community Service Project in 2018. Now, in the 2018-9 school year, Nitin hopes to work close with his members and continue building the chapter.

Rohan PatelWebmaster Before becoming the Webmaster in 2017, Mr. Patel worked as an analyst at the largest venture capital firm in Santa Monica - March Capital Partners - at the growth fund Apria Group LLC. He also attended the Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes Business and Entrepreneurship Course. Rohan's leadership experience includes being the President of Stock Market Club, Founder and CEO of the BRHS Entrepreneurship Club, and Historian of the National Chinese Honor Society. He also runs his own advisory firm, RP Advisors, which provides leading startups with teenage positioning strategies. Mr. Patel attended the UPenn M&TSI program during the summer of 2018, a rigorous for credit program where his startup team won Director's Choice (recommendation from M&T Director Gad Allon and Professor Jeff Babin). With regard to FBLA, Mr. Patel was the first webmaster to create the chapter's website. He was a nationals semi-finalist for Entrepreneurship in 2017 and a State Champion in Website Design (2018).

Manu ViswanathHistorianManu Viswanath is the newest and best addition to the BRHS FBLA officer team. Currently a junior, he has participated in FBLA since middle school and has competed in the regional and state level conferences in his past two years of high school. His past business experience includes attending the entrepreneurship program at Brown University. Apart from FBLA, Manu is involved in debate and jazz band.
